Alison Doody

Alison Doody, born 11 November 1966 in Ireland is a model and actor. After making her debut in a feature film by playing a minor role in the Bond film A View to a Kill (1985) she went on to appear as a an archaeologist who is sympathetic to Nazis, Elsa Schneider, in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989). There were also roles for Siobhan Dovan on the film A Prayer for the Dying (1987) Charlotte in Taffin (1988) as well as Rebecca Flannery in Major League II (1994). Doody was approached by a photographer and began to model. Then she began an industry-wide career in commercial modeling. Doody did not shy away from glamour or sexually explicit work. This was a policy she extended to her acting career. After catching the eye of the director of casting in an upcoming James Bond movie, she took a part of A View to a Kill as Jenny Flex. Doody was named one of the top 12 promising young Actors of 1986 in John Willis Screen World, Volume. 38. Doody was just turning 18 years old when she took on the role of Bond girl. Doody is the youngest Bondgirl to date. in 1987 Mickey Rourke starred in A Prayer for the Dying in which she portrayed IRA members Siobhan Doovan. Doody was a silent actress in a 1987 film adaptation to The Secret Garden, playing Archibald Craven's dream wife Lilias. In a Jim Henson fantasy episode The Storyteller in 1988, Doody played Sapsorrow with John Hurt Dawn French Jennifer Saunders. The actress played Pierce Brosnan, in the 1988 film Taffin. In the following film, she played her greatest role in the film Taffin as Austrian Archaeologist and Nazisympathiser Doctor. Elsa Schneider playing alongside Harrison Ford. Doody is part of the James Bond family, having been in the film with Sean Connery and Jonathan Pryce in 1989's Indiana Jones and the Final Crusade. Doody costarred with Jonathan Pryce, in the British miniseries Selling Hitler. The series was an inspiration for the Hitler Diaries publishing scam. Later, she relocated to Hollywood. The actress later became Flannery Charlie Sheen's agent as well as partner on the set of Major League II. She had been chosen as the replacement for Cybill Shepherd who was L'Oreal's first spokeswoman. Doody returned to acting in 2003, playing a small role on the British comedy The Actors, in which Michael Caine played herself at an awards ceremony. In 2004, she starred alongside Patrick Swayze as a television adaptation of King Solomon's Mines. She also appeared on Benjamin's Struggle, a 2005 booklet on the Holocaust. Doody played a small role in Danny Dyer's movie The Rapture (2010). The Clinic, a medical drama, aired on RTE. The Asphyx was her 2011 remake. She began her first two seasons on the E4 comedy Beaver Falls in 2011 as Pam Jefferson. The show also featured her in We Still Kill the Old Way (2014). The Almeria tierra de film award was awarded to her on the 21st of November the 21st of November, 2018. In addition, she was awarded an award at the Almeria Walk Of Fame.
